Well I would ground her for like a month and keep a close eye on her. If she's one of those who isn't ready for a bf you should talk to her.

Send her to classes for smoking cessation, and if she had a boyfriend put a stop to that also. A 13 year old male or female should not be doing either one of these things. God bless

Smoking - grounded for 01 month
Boyfriend - grounded for 02 month
Also a big long lecture on the following topics:
- Premarital sex
- Teen pregnancy
- Baby management

- Bad effects of smoking on the body

My dad caught me at fifteen and he encouraged me to sit outside with him and smoke one after the other after the other. After about 4, I threw up and was done with smoking. I know a lot of people of saying that's cruel, but I'm from the country and that's how we handle things like that. :-) The boyfriend thing, I don't know how you would turn the tables on that one though. :-)

as far as the boy friend it's gonna happen.... so just be sure to monitor they're behavior when they are together. As far as smoking talk to them about all the health risks associated with smoking and make sure they understand that smoking does not make you "cool" or make you seem more mature. If you smoke you may have to consider the effects your smoking has had on his/her desire to light up.

Okay on the boyfriend part...its up to your parenting skills...but on the smoking thing...
the legal age is 18 to smoke..who gave her the ciggs??
maybe you should find out etc...
then whatever punishment you have in ur house..she should get the rest one that you dish out..

Strictly ground them for a month and not let them watch tv or any games. Having a boyfriend at that age is fairly normal and harmless as long as its chaperoned and the boy is her age.

Don't talk (except for the very basics) to him/her for a day or two. Be gruff, they have to understand that you are disappointed in them as a person.

scold them and tell them there is right time to do that...smoking is not good for health..
