i have a gif image in my comp in wnds xp.i cannot view .when i view blank box comes how can i view it plz suggest

If the .gif is not correupted, and truly is a gif file, you should be able to view it in internet explorer. That's assuming you are trying to view an animated gift in action. Most photo/bitmap editting software lets you view it, but IE or a specific gif program are needed to view it animated.
If none of those work, the probelm is with the gif file.

Internet Explorer opens up when I run a .GIF image.

Just double click on it. if you see blank box the file is bad.

it's a blank box then....
load it in windows picture viewer or your brower (firefox or internet explorer)
