A trojan virus...get your computer reformatted. If not, clear out some programs that you arent using and delete them. Then defragment your computer.

Downloading movies is time consuming, but your internet connection has a lot to do with it. If you have dial-up, take a nap. If you have cable, much better.
Also, certain days and times affect downloading. Early morning and late at night better. Weekends and holidays, forget it. Think of it as traffic on the road or at the mall.
Did you close all open programs? Turn the screensaver off? It is running in the background.

see there can many reason for slow speed, may be the movie size is big, your internet speed is slow, or you are infected by virus.

ur sys might b attacked by any spyware which is common while using net..many antivirus packs do not detect them even norton security wil not help u..try shifting to someother antivirus ..i recommend antivir ......download it from www.fileratings.com

well i guess it depends upon the the model of your pc..maybe its frequency speed is slower compared to others.The slower the speed, the fewer instructions it receives and process.
