True friends will stand by you always, no matter what. If that
person wishes to go on with her life without you being a part of it,
good for YOU. Who needs wishy washy "friends". I grew up with
one girl, all my life, but she wanted to keep her distance after we
"grew up", I never understood that. But, I am glad now. Cause
she was not all there anyway, alot of personal problems. So, at
the time, it hurt my feelings a bit, and was puzzled. AH, so what.
I wouldn't want to see her for anything....noway. And that's good!

Yes, I have/had a friend of 15 years,, we have drifted apart,, but I moved, she moved, she stay married to a loser, I divorced a loser, I had a baby, she didn't, I bought a home, she continued to rent, I got a life, and she supported her worthless hubby (still) with 3 part time jobs, gave up having kids, (she wanted them too), is now menopausal, still same apartment, still same hubby,, same stuff,, same crap.. completely complacent.

It's like I can't relate,, and when I'm happy, I feel guilty telling her, when I talk about my accomplishments, I feel sadden for her nonexistent dreams, .. when I've got money, and she's working 3 jobs to just get buy, ... breaks my heart. I'd never put up with it. Great lady,, adore her still, most selfless woman I know, to the point of losing herself entirely to a man! I can't do it anymore! It got so weird, her telling me she finally went to Walmart to buy some much needed new hand towels,, after I sent her a $100 gift card,, I just stopped communicating and ignored the calls, same as her family. Still bothers me to this day!

YES, AND IT'S NOT A PLEASANT FEELING WHEN IT HAPPENS TO YOU.

I HAVE A FRIEND THAT I'VE BEEN BEST FRIENDS WITH FOR 20 YEARS, AND ALL OF THE SUDDEN, SHE FOR ALL INTENSIVE PURPOSES, KICKED ME TO THE CURB FOR NOT ONLY HER NEW BOYFRIEND, BUT HER NEW CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, THAT APPARENTLY DIDN'T INCLUDE ME ANYMORE.

SHE DECIDED THAT SHE WANTED TO CHANGE HER LIFE, AND I WAS NOT FEELING LIKE A PART OF HER NEW LIFE AT ALL.

SHE WOULD MAKE UP EXCUSES ABOUT HOW SIE DIDN'T WANT TO CRAMP HER BOYFRIEND'S STYLE BY HAVING ME AROUND, BUT IT WAS A-OKAY FOR HER TO HAVE HER OTHER FRIENDS AROUND AS MUCH AS SHE AND HE WANTED AND IT WAS OKAY FOR HER TO GO OUT WITH HER NEW FRIENDS, AND DIDN'T INVITE ME.

WE STILL SEE EACH OTHER SOMETIMES, BUT IT'S NOT THE SAME. SHE'S NOT THE SAME, AND FOR THAT REASON, I'M NOT SURE IF OUR FRIENDSHIP WILL EVER GET BACK TO WHERE IT USED TO BE.

I WOULDN'T MIND SO MUCH IF OUR LIVES CHANGED JUST AS LONG AS I KNEW WE STILL HAD THE SISTERLY LIKE BOND THAT WE HAD DEVELOPED, BUT THE SAD THING IS WHEN A PERSON CHANGES THRIR LIFE, AND IT NO LONGER INCLUDES YOU, IT'S VERY HARD TO GET BACK THAT SISTERLY CONNECTIONS YOU ONCE SHARED, AND CHANCES ARE , THEY DON'T WANT TO REGAIN THAT CONNECTION, FOR IF THEY WOULDN'T KICK YOU TO THE CURB TO START WITH.

GOOD LUCK. I REALLY HOPE THIS PUTS THINGS INTO PROPER PERSPECTIVE FOR YOU. I HOPE THIS WASN'T TOO LONG AND DRAWN OUT FOR YOU, BUT THIS IS WHAT I WENT THROUGH AND THIS IS HOW IT MADE ME FEEL.

GOD BLESS!
