wow thanks for that samuel barber peice , it even beats music for the mozart effect by don campbell which were generally crap.

Air on a g string by Bach
Search for these two in Amazon and you'll get a bunch of CD's with just strings... with samples.

The song sounds more classical than new age. If you look for classical music for violins, or a stringed quartet, that should get you what you are looking for.
