Let her write whatever way she feels is natural. It will cause her more damage to try to rewire her brain for right-handed use.

Left-handed writing is not the same as right-handed writing in the left hand. A specific technique is required for a lefty to write legibly and comfortably. Lefties push the pencil across the page while righties pull it across. There are a number of books and learning aids available to help lefties learn to write correctly.
Your daughter's general learning should not be any different from any other child just because she is left-handed. Be sure your daughter's teacher is aware she is a lefty and has experience in teaching them - that will make the whole exercise less traumatic for you both.
Good luck!

I am left handed and i dont have any problems.
I think the dominate hand is a sign of which side of the brain is more dominate. I found this website which is actually pretty interesting. I never had any of the problems associated with being left handed apart from being the only one in my class and having to use green scissors instead of red ones in primary school.
Goodluck..

Left handers have to learn to do a lot of things right handed, starting with scissors in kindergarten. Yes, you should be concerned. But learning to use both hands can be a good thing. At least, I think it was for me. My math and verbal are equally balanced.

I think that this is no big deal.
It's a natural process. We dont have choices but we can teach ourselves either to live with it or to change it!

Moreover, dont let this thing bother her. Being left handed or right handed is just a gift from God.

If you ll try to make her write with her right hand then that may cause her some problems.
