Google "gold sandals" for some good shoes (you should be able to find a suitable pair for a good price somewhere), and for this, the natural look would look best (as far as hair and make-up goes).
You may also want to have some respect for whom your dressing up as, and ask her permission - unless you're planning on tweaking it and making it just a Roman royal female figure or something.
