A powerful country can colonize and control over a dependent area or colonized country. The colonizing country has the power
to possess and control all the activities of the people, their social, economic and military aspects. Local government of the colonized country is usually led by an appointed political figure from the powerful country and local government activities do conform and follow the will of the colonizing country.
