NO I DO NOT. I THINK IT'S YET ANOTHER ATTEMPT MADE BY MAN TO TRY TO PLAY GOD.

I have studied a little about it, but still do not think that I have enough knowledge on the subject to answer your question honestly. I do, however, know that the concept as a whole makes me very uncomfortable. The reason: cloning humans would be done at the hands of human beings. We have, thus far, proven not to be very ethical when playing god.

While I do support the theory of human cloning AS FAR AS cloning human organs for those in dire need of organ transplants, I think that our civilization/race/society is NOT ready to accept the responsibility of complete human cloning. We have made a mess of our home, we trash our home, we soil our home, and we've generally made life miserable for everyone in our home - why should we MAKE more room-mates for this small world? We can't even clean up after ourselves, let alone bring more lives into this world when it's overcrowded as it is.

Absolutely not ... although genetic engineering MAY be a method to improve human society, it COULD BE the one cause that may well lead us to self - destruction instead. It could lead to the ultimate annihilation of a notion that human society thrives upon ... individuality.

When Dolly (the sheep) was created ... they used a ewe's egg and cell from another ewe's body ... no sperm from a ram
was involved, therefore, there would be no genetic need for
men, in order to clone *GASP* *insert cryin' emoticon here*!!

There's too many unanswered questions, in regards to human cloning. If the end result could possibly lead to our demise ... should we really be "tinkering" with something as immoral
and unethical as human cloning? I say a resounding ... NO!!

We already grow skin for use on burn patients. It can't be too long before we can grow liver or brain or blood cells. And cloning for the potential recipient could cut down on transplant rejections. In that sense I approve.

I don't think that's a power we are quite ready to handle responsibly.
