If that ornery woman is your wife or partner, then all you need to do is realise she might be hormonal. She either needs to be left alone, or just cuddled. Ask her if there's anything you can get her and lather on the flattery. When women are hormonal, they usually are feeling annoyed and bloated / fat - you gotta just make them feel loved and cared for.

Sometimes it's not what you say, it's what you don't say that makes the difference. Wash the dishes or pour her a bubble bath.

If she's not a wife or partner, just don't say anything. Your best keeping your distance.

Ornery? Why would you want to make an ill-natured woman feel better. Perhaps she's at her best when she's cantankerous.

Is she your wife? If so, then perhaps you should make some positive changes in your own life to make yourself feel better.

YOU don't say anything. It will only make her more "ornery".
