Check your memory. You have memory in one slot or both the slots? If it is in both the slots remove one and reboot. Or your hard disk may have failed

I have completly understood your problem you must do following things:

1) Upgrade your ram to atleast 512 Mb
2) Buy a new processor of 2.4 or Higher
3)Try reinstalling sound drivers if doesent work buy a good sound card
4) Install either Quick Heal Total Security(If you have internet) or Norton Internet Security.(You may also install antivirus softwares from the companies mentioned above.)
5) Go to bios setup(Press F2 at startup) then boot then keep the first boot device as Hard Disk 2nd as CDROM 3rd floppy or anything then press F10 this will give you a message select yes. this will save changes and restart your pc.
6) Install Registry Mechanic on your sys if you dont have mail me at omkarjere@gmail.com and I will send it to you for free with registration key.

Virus infected. Reformat the hard disk and reload OS afresh.
