It's impossible to "CORK" aluminum, but very possible to get more pop! the hardest part, that screws up about every bat, is the cap, is very hard to pop off and also get back on...... BUT I also enjoy ur curosity, cause back in high school, when we played softball on the weekends I set out to figure it out... I can't find the link but I remember the steps...

1) remove the leather grip
2) place all of the aluminum so NOT THE CAP over either a very hot BBQ, or a fire, make sure to not melt any paint so u have to roatate it a lot, and dont melt the plastic cap... you're trying to heat the aluminum and make it expand so that the cap will slip off...
3) the best thing to do is wrap a heat storing blanket or towel around the bat that will keep it hot, or if ur clever enough keep it on the BBQ or fire, and continure on...the 3rd step is pour caulking or spray foam into the bottom of the barrel, until u reach the sweet spot
4) now u take bouncy balls it doesnt matter what kind shape weight or size, and u can either chop them up finely and put in the barrell or premake a something for it...is what i did bought an old food processor and chopped up a ton of balls, and ground them up, put a peice of PCP pipe and put a screen under it, pour some of the ground up balls into the pipe then put it under a faucet and let water run through it until it comes through fresh.... keep repeating until ur pipe is full, then freeze it... so if u do it this way u take it out of the tube cover it in the caulking or whatever u used and slide it into the barrell
5) almost done, add some caulking above the balls to fill the space, then put the cap back on, make sure ur bat is still hot or the cap wont fit back on, u can also put the cap in the freezer while ur doin this to shrink it some... let the bat cool in room temperature or outside, but dont get it wet or put in a cooler or it will crack...

I could defenitly see a difference after all this was done... if u dont want to do all this and it doesnt matter if the bat looks tampered, take a torch and heat up the barrell, it will break easier but if u hit the sweet spot the thinner metal and bigger air pocket will cause a bgger reaction and SHABLAM!

I played in a league this summer where the other team obviously either corked their bats or used illegal bats.
If you're planning on using them in an actual league, don't because people will notice when you barely swing and the ball clears the fence by about 50 feet.
I've never seen a church softball game almost come to a brawl before that.

How To Cork A Bat

Don't use cork use super-balls, just take the black thing off the top of the bat and stuff super balls in it then glue the top back on. Use good glue like gorilla glue you don't want the top flying off and those super balls flying everywhere

Pop the top of it off and put a tennis ball and a couple of super bounce balls in it but make sure you glue the top back on so the balls dont fly out when you make contact
