What is the safe way to bring my old computer from Ahmedabad to Mumabi ? can anybody tell me...?
By bus, Train, Courier or others.......?
What will be the cost ?
Will I have to pay Octroi etc. in mumbai ??

Put it in a train or take a bus dont parcel it just take it as luggage.
In a train you wont have to pay anything more than your own fare just go early and find space to put it next to your berth.
No need for octroi....this is india u can take a box or two while travelling

The Train is the best way to bring the pc. before that pls remove the harddisk and ram from the cpu and hold it safe in a pack and well pack the monitor with clothes/papers which will not even scratch the monitor and keyboard,mouse is not a problem.

Pack the machine tightly with help from the Packers and Movers in your area. Then shift it personally by Train or Car

best way is to by train as it will be more safer and cheaper.
only thing is you get down at the one station before the main railway station so that you will be remitted from taxes of carrying
electronic goods from one state to other.
no charges for goods to be paid. put under the berth of yours.
