could I take a pitcher and put him the outfield bring in another pitcher have him pitch out the inning then bring in the pitcher from the outfield and have him pitch the following inning?

yes u can. When i was young i went 2 a met game nd they were down by like 15 so they had matt franco (a 1b) pitching nd some crappy pitcher in the outfield nd they used that crappy pitcher in the 8th. as long as a player doesnt get removed from the game any1 could pitch. plus when i was in high school nd the starting pitcher i would pitch my 7 to 8 innings then go in at either catcher or 2nd. nd when i became closer as a jr nd sr i played 1st base nd came in when they needed me.

Yes. As long as the player isn't removed from the game he can continue in any other position. If a fielder got hurt you could bring in a pitcher to take his place and use him as a pitcher later. Fernando Valenzuela played first base in a game against the Astros in a game in the 80's.

Technically the manager is an available player. Tony could have put himself in to play the last out at third if he wanted to during the world series.
