i'm a single. i have a kid that i rasied for 8 years by myself she wanted to live with her mom so i let her i got a job driving a truck but i would still like to have a girlfriend or if we get alongtogether i would consider haveing a wife

I am engaged to a truck driver. We have been together for over three years and living together for over two years. They make a lot of sacrifices being on the road for long amounts of time. The person at home does as well. You need to have good communication and maturity to be with a trucker. Yes they do get a bad rap for being cheaters. But you can cheat with any occupation.

I am dating a truck driver. The long distance thing is difficult for both of us, but we are dealing with it. It takes a strong woman to put up with the extended lengths of time apart, and a strong man to remain true to her (given the stereotypical truck driver reputation). If you end up holding a relationship, remember to give her credit for going through this with you, and appreciate her, because although you are gone most of the time, she is at home waiting for you, and that is a difficult thing to do.

I don't quite get what you think the problem is with being a truck driver. My husband has a HGV 1 licence ( here in The UK that allows him to drive the biggest sized lorries ), he used to drive twice a week to Ireland from Wales, I would go with him, it was brilliant, we had so much fun, making love in the cab, making love on the ferry - great don't worry yourself about this.

Married to one.... so I won't sugarcoat this for you. Its a difficult life, and can be very lonely. Takes alot of work, alot of communication, and even more compromise, and it has one of the highest divorce rates of all occupations. You need an understanding wife... who's very trusting and secure with herself. And thats not always easy to find....especially given the reputation of truck drivers... and their lot lizzard friends. Good luck.

i chatted with a truck driver, he told me that his wife left him due to his occupation but he was one of the nicest person i've ever chatted with
i don't think it's right to degrad poeple just because they are not rich, when i admire a guy i do so by spotting good qualities in his character and potencials.not the present state his in.

im a woman for me,i dont care what is his job as long as we like each other...we both inlove and wants to do the same things with me....that is wonderful ....most of all as long as ur daughter likes me then no problem...she is a big part of ur life too....
