Before anyone tries to offer an answer, would it be of any value if you could not offer an opinion that has been thought upon using a little more than "i feel all alone in a crowded room, why?"I'm no pro at this but if I were going to attempt to offer an opinion, I would need to have a little more such as ,how old are you? Are you single, attatched, or married? What is the enviroment of the room you are in. Is it a special event, a college kegger, or a sleepover with 5 of your closest, and maybe one of your second closest friends dressed in nighties, and your the only one that still has pimples? Do you get it? I would hinder a guess that what you are asking for is a definition that fits your life best, no? I personally have shared similar feelings and more than once. But that was me.

It's sounds as if you aren't connected to the people around you. While I agree that more information with a question like this would be great I can generally say that you don't have anyone around you who you can talk to easily and without reserve. The people around you, whether they be strangers, acquaintances, or long-time friends, don't know the real you and you don't feel comfortable revealing yourself to them, even a little.

You mean you feel lonely. Introverts feel lonely in big gatherings because their energy is depleted by inane chatter.
Find a few good friends who share your interests and with whom you can feel true companionship and you will never need feel lonely again.
