Romo could be the spark they need, not b/c he is that great but b/c he will make sure TO gets the ball, and in the past regardless of how much you hate TO once he gets the ball alot the team he is on usually tends to score more points than the other team. Plus Julius Jones is one of the most underrated backs in the league and Marion Barber teams up for a great combo...the D just has to stop giving up big plays and make some of there own, thats where im worried.

Wow good game up until thee 4th qtr. Romo can scramble as where bledsoe couldn't or wouldn't. Dallas defense is up there. Dallas has a good offensive arsenal, TO, Glenn, can open up the running game for J. Jones and Marion Barber. And they are tough RBs, Barber has 5-6 tds this season. Barber has just exploded from out of know where. i knew Barber was a threat. Then you got Whitten. The offensive line is the weakest link for the cowboys, but now that Romo can scramble, that will take off pressure off the offensive line. Still, they need to tweak that line.
Carolina didn't have an answer for Romo, but the skins will do their homewok sure enough. Brunell, he's alot like bledsoe. Its gonna be up to moss, portis and cooley to outsmart the Dallas defense.
Cowboys, if romo can continue to scramble they'll make the wild-card. Superbowl contenders I don't think so not this year anyway. so far the contenders looks like Chicago against the AFC's colts or Baltimore.

I was nervous tonight, but Romo played well. The Cowboys always give up quick touchdowns, they got lucky that Keyshawn dropped that pass near the endzone. TO, Witten, and GLenn made some good catches and gained some extra yardage. Jones and Barber made some great runs. The Cowboys defense still needs a little bit of work, but they look good.

The same thing I thought of them before: Great defense, great running game, great receivers, suspect offensive line. The change at quarterback will help, especially now that the team believes they can win with Romo. They have a realistic shot at the playoffs, if they continue to protect the football. All three of their losses have been as a result of turnovers. When they don't turn it over, they can beat anybody.
On a side note to all you T.O. haters. How many games have the Eagles won without him?

they might be doing ok now but just wait until next year when TO decides he needs an extra $10 mil added to his contract so he can build a bigger house for his mama... he'll make a mockery of the Cowboys just like he did the Eagles last year

I think they may make it to the playoffs, but I highly doubt they'll make it to the Superbowl. There are still some wrinkles that need to be ironed out. They'll be alot better next season though.

It will take about 3 games then the coachs will have enough film to see what he likes to do and how to stop him.
