Each to their own but how can a faceful of metal be considered attractive! Or comfortable for the penetrated!?

Yea. Just because you don't find it attractive doesn't mean others don't. I have been pierced in many, many places and work in the corporate field and have for 15 years. I make very good money and am very successful in my field. Is everyone I meet at my company comfortable with it? I doubt it, but my work precedes my appearance and everyone I work with respects my work. The older I get, the less piercings I have, I will admit, but it has nothing to do with my career, just a personal choice.

Well, through history, several cultures have used piercings as a way of embellishment. True, it is not the best thing to have a part of your body penetrated by one. But still it is a small price to pay for a little vanity. (I have one myself - and in my opinion, one is enough).
Now, you mention a face full of metal...true, it can seem a little too much, and it can really disfigure the one wearing them...but much as it may not seem attractive to you, me or many, it appeals to many others....so, it is just a matter of likes and dislikes. I mean.....if we start with this kind of questions....we'll end up with things like 'why do some girls (and boys) dye their hair blue?' 'why the funny haircuts?' 'what with the crazy clothes?'. Like you said, everyone has a right to have their own, so, I guess we can just limit ourselves to express our opinions. And pierced lovers....if you like them, go for them. Just don't exaggerate. Think of what consequences they may ring in a few years time....the skin losing it's natural tightness-in some areas- thus losing shape, possible infections...scarring. Your call!
Have a good day.

Definitely less is more. One or two is fine, but when there's loads, especially by the eyebrow, it makes me feel queasy to look at them.
