I really didn't start wearing make-up outside my house until around age 20. But I've been playing around with it since age 14. Before that I wasn't too interested..just nail polish.

I started wearing makeup like around 14. I used to wear more than I do now though. I guess it's b/c it was something new to me. But, I'm 20 now and the only thing I use is powder, eyeshadow, and lip gloss. I personally think less is best.

I wish I'd never started cause now my skin is too damaged to go cold turkey and stop using it. I'm trying to gradually wean myself off all makeup and it's driving me nuts.
It's just a bunch of chemicals that aren't really good for you and the more u use the more you need and the more u try. Sound like a money making marketing scam?
I look at most guys my age (25) and their skin is fine, normal texture and not shiny. My skin is now easily irritated, red and shiny

I thought I needed it at 15.
Got caught up in the hippie movement in the late 60's and 70's and quit wearing it. I only put it on when I get dressed up and want to look like a grown up. I always took care of my skin.

I started to put on mascara and eyeliner (some eyeshadow) on when i turned 15... but then my eyes started to have allergic reactions... so i rarely wear that stuff....and when i do it's hypo-allergenic.
