It all depends on what the consumer is looking for and let me just add that the Playstation 3 is not even out yet so no one except Sony can let you know how good it is. I think as of right now the console that has the edge in the next-gen war is the XBOX360 mainly because it's been out for about a year now and its given the game developers time to work with the graphics. There are more than 100 games out for it already which is kind of fixing the problem of the first XBOX and with such exclusives as "Gears Of War" and "Halo 3" you can't really go wrong. If you want to talk about graphics just look at the "Gears of War" trailer or the "Lost Planet" trailer and you too would be impressed. The online features are pretty damn cool, I love the fact that you can download any demo you want and the XBOX Live Arcade is awesome with classic games coming out for it every month. Yeah you have to pay about $50 to $60 bucks a year but if you can afford a $400 console than it really is no biggie. The PS3 however does have many standard features that the 360 sells seperately. If you actually add up all the cost of the features on the 360 with those of the PS3 you will see that the PS3 is actually cheaper at its $600 price. For example the PS3 ($600 pack) comes with a Blu-Ray player built in, integrated wireless, and a 60 gb hard drive and does'nt charge for online game play. The 360 ($400 premium pack) comes with a 20gb hard drive, you can buy another 20gb HD for $100, the wireless option for networking costs another $100, HD-DVD Drive is $200, and XBOX Live Gold costs $50 to $60 a year. I like that the 360 gives you the options to have the features rather than making you buy them like the PS3. I personally don't want to restart my DVD library and make a change to next-gen dvd players and even with all the additional expenses for the 360 I would still take it because quite frankly it's proved itself.

The PS3 has blue ray, which is tough to make games for. The Xbox has an HD-DVD drive which is easy too make games for and a hell of a lot cheaper. So in theory PS3 will have less games. Xbox will have same everything and more at a lower cost.
Plus with PS3 you need an HD TV, xbox u dont, it works on my 5 yr old tv

XBox 360. It's already out so you know what you're getting. I've played Fight Night on 360 and it's so real it's incredible. I don't like the PS games that much.

Decide which games you want to play and select the console that suits. Its about the games not the consoles.
