I had this really weird dream that I was a mennonite and I wore all black dress and stockings and bonnet and I was only doing it temporarily but when it was time for me to go back to the real world I cried and was scared because I liked being a mennonite. I was driving in a big Tahoe and these boys were looking at me weird because I was in my menonite dress and I tore off my bonnett and flipped them off. When I woke up I still wanted to go back to being a mennonite with my bonnet and black outfit.
When I was young I wanted to be Amish, I'm 24 now and I just stopped drinking (hopefully for life).
What is with this dream?? When I think about this dream it makes me sad for some reason.

Wow! What a dream...It sounds like obviously your early fascination with the Amish may have influenced the dream. When I think of the Mennonite, I think of simplicity and purity. Maybe you miss a time in your life when you were more innocent or things were much more simple. You stated that you recently stopped drinking...maybe that is your return to "purity" **Just a note, I am NOT saying drinking is wrong...no hate emails please!!!!** Maybe your afraid that it won't last, and you want it to...just some thoughts...

Maybe that was your past life trying to come back?
