How do I hook up the speaker cables to my hammond organ model cv?

The cable from the Hammond cv console first goes to a D-20 tone cabinet. Then another cable comes off the D-20 to a PR-40 tone cabinet. The cables were removed and there are no markings to indicate how to plug them back in. I understand two wires in the cables carry ac current so it must be critical how the plugs are lined up.

If the cables are "multi-pin" you will notice when looking closely that the pins are not equal in size. This is by design so that the cable cannot be patched in incorrectly. If the cable is not oriented correctly, or there are differences between the cables you have, then they won't plug in.
