Yes, I was told about the hair and nails...but not the nose. Your nose AND ears will continue to grow throughout your entire life, but not after death. Additionally, hair and nail growth will cease upon death due to the loss of blood supply to the follicles. Decomposition accounts for the myth that hair and nails continue to grow post mortum. "When the body begins decomposing, the cells break down, exposing more of the hair shaft and nail beds causing the appearance of hair and nail growth." (from the website shown below)

Yes to hair and nails no to the nose. I've heard that your nose grows all of your living days.

That's a misunderstanding of the way bodies decay. It's described very well in several of Patricia Cornwell's novels about Kay Scarpetta, who is a medical examiner.
Since circulation must exist for the follicles and cuticles to process hair and nails, growth after death is impossible.
What does happen is that the rest of the body starts to dehydrate, causing the flesh to recede, exposing more of the nail or hair that was formerly below the skin level.

The hair does not actually grow, but the skin contracts which makes more of the shaft of the hair visible, thereby making the actual hair appear longer

Your hair and nails don't continue to grow, your skin recedes making them look longer.

I've heard it before but... I don't think it's true. Considering your cells no longer multiply when you're dead...
Also... your nose can't grow after death it would rot and wither like everything else...
