Just like racism, sexism, homophobia, religion, war, and most of society's other ills. Do they actually think a dual party system equates with true democracy, especially with the laws, electoral college and pay-to-play SOP of today's governments?

And honestly, any half-way intelligent, logical true American can do a better job. I think a real CPA could balance out budget fine, without the corruption. Realize, the wealthy elite keep being "elected" by a majority that are neither wealthy nor elite...

Those affiliated with either of the lameduck, corrupt political parties are stuck in the religious mentality. They're habitual within whom they place their trust. They like to believe the lies and misinformation force fed upon them. They still believe the USG has all its citizens' best interests in mind.....equate it with the sheep mentality or battered-wife syndrome (it has to get better sometime....).

Any civic minded, so-called normal American would do better than the corrupt elitist that keep getting "elected". But hey, if they prefer to squabble and argue over semantics and distractions, then let them. Hopefully, all their names are on the multi-colored lists, since it is one of the biggest databases in America (the political roll call). Then they'll see just what party politics and affiliation will get them.

Unfortunately most people believe they have freedom of choice. If I offer you the choice between two corrupt politicians, are you free when you make that choice? I must vote against Bush for the sake of the country and the world. But if Kerry, also a member of the Skull and Bones and loyal to Bush's dad, is the alternative, we are in worse shape than ever before.

Yes, we know it. As a people we are so dupped. Is it time to try to over throw the government? I think that is too dangerous of a proposition. Instead, I firmly believe the government will overthrow itself. Give the devil enough rope and he will hang himself everytime.

I prefer the following terms:

Demublican

or

Republicrat

Either way, there is really NO DIFFERENCE between them any more. Both of these "trains" are leading this country of ours down a path of destruction, they're just on different sets of tracks.

Then since you think you know so much, let's see YOU run for public office and fix the whole mess. Huh? How 'bout it?
