He has a lot to do with the current disarray in our country. Poor decisions and less then capable people that he appointed in positions of power have been his downfall.

Bush is NOT an evil man. He has had good luck and bad luck. Unfortunately his bad luck was due to many poor judgment calls. He should fire Cheney and his sec. of defense. His sec. of state isn't too hot either. He has made many bad mistakes and he is a stubborn man.

Wouldn't you feel better posting this on Daily KOS or Democratic Underground?

Bush had 9-11 and a major stock market crash in the early days of his administration. He's made some mistakes, either by bad info, or bad decisions to good info, or both.

Chances are 100% that if Gore or Kerry would've won, we'd still be arguing about Iran in this forum. I'm betting that Gore would've invaded too, and Kerry would've failed to pull us out. In many ways, the cards that leaders are dealt determine what they do a lot more than what they say they believe.

Replace "George Bush" with "the United States"; makes another good question.

9/11, Katrina...yeah I'd say any president would not know how to react to such unexpected situations. Can we not at least agree that he believes he is doing the best for America? I would hope so, whether or not you agree that it actually is the best. Anyone under these circumstances, no matter how they react, is open to criticism from those who feel they could do a better job. Arrogance from them? I'd wager to say so

This country has problems, George Bush is doing the best he can to make things better for all of us, and everyone being a jerk to him doesn't help. He is the leader of our country, WE elected him, so lets support him! Yes, bad things have happened in his presidency, but he is handling it the way any good president would.

And as for people crying to bring our troops home...its not like the president drafted them and sent them unwillingly to fight in Iraq! They signed up with their own free will (this country allows that), and its so annoying to hear people blame this on the president when our soldiers signed up to go fight the war and protect our country!

S**t happens, but we just have to have faith.

Karma, that would fall into the category of the mythological, psychic, para normal, imaginary, unreal, made up, unscientific, superstitious etc. In other words a sound liberal principal.
