John Terry without a question. Lahm is good because he's so young but he's nothing compared to Terry. Nevile isn't even worth discussing.

John terry is the best defender. NO DOUBT! almost never injured, never absent in any game.
Lahm's the cutest because he's tiny and he can also help an attack. Neville is out of the question. hahaha...

Terry based on ability and character. His quality at the back was never in question, and his strength and determination really lifts his team.
Gary Neville for consistency and workrate. He's one player Ferguson will never ever drop, and that speaks volumes.
Lahm for venturing forward, but he's nowhere near the best yet really.
