silver will tarnish in air, fake will not

best way is to buy a silver testing kit available from a jewelry shop or take it to the shop for testing

Genuine silver is always stamped by the creator. ALWAYS. Typically you see the number stamp 925 with the occasional letters of the creators initials.
Silver that feels empty or is made in Asia typically is fake. If the place from which you are purchasing the silver does not sell polishing cloths or tells you it never needs polishing more than likely is selling fake junk.

when u wear it it leaves black mar k and plus u can kind of bend it it isn't as shiny as real silver

you should look for the .925 on the piece of silver

Look for a .925 ingraving somewhere on the piece. It should have this if it's real

it usally has some number on it on the latch and it is real
