Would you/Do you buy a fake designer bags?

Question

why or why not? And if you do do you try and pass it off like they are real? or do you admit they are fake when someone asks?

I've bought a couple of fake bags before, but I'm not a big fan in doing so. I find the fake bags tend to fall apart quite easily and therefore don't last very long. It's better to invest the money into the real thing, because you know it's something you'll have for a really long time. I do however wear my fakes when I go out so that I don't mess up my real ones. If anyone asks, I tell them the truth because I shouldn't have to worry about who's judging me based on my purse.

Designer bags do not "last longer" nor are they "made of better quality." My mother is very into designer bags. Do they last longer? No, they last as long as regular purses. I have bought fake designer bags before. They don't fall apart. I'm not into purses or material things at all anymore, but I used to buy fake ones because it was a waste of money to buy the real ones. Why spend $400 on a purse that is not going to last forever and may get stolen? Funnily enough, I would admit that they're fake and my friends usually smile when I do that.

I find that most ppl who buy designer bags aren't even that rich at all, but they buy designer bags to pass off as someone of higher status. For example, why do people buy $100 designer jeans? Is the quality better? Does it last longer? No. Both are 99% cotton and 1% spandex. I buy $17.00 jeans and strangely, they lasted longer than my friend's $125 designer jeans. :)

Don't buy into the hype. Just buy what u think looks good at a reasonable price. Expensive are not always "better quality" than regular ones. Another example is a $20 shirt from Hollister is very thin and unravels when u pull a string. Go to Wal-Mart and you'll see an $8 shirt is thicker and lasts longer. (Btw, I'm not recommending anyone buy clothes at K-mart, I'm just giving an example). "Designer" is just a term ppl use to make idiots buy more expensive things so that they can think they're better than others.

I have brought fake designer bags.. like the Birkin Bags..
which normally costs over $20000!!
but at the same time i also brought real designer bags.
So it kinda evens it out.
Not many people ask. but wen they do i pass it off as being real!
hehehe.
Its kinda bad to buy fake basg cuz it promotes child labour.terrorist.and drug companies.

Totally. I am on a tight budget (I grew up with very little money) it's easy to run to Wal-Mart or even Good Will (My roomie and I pretty much live there). I don't try to pass it off as anything it isn't, I'm not ashamed of where I shop or the fact that I am drawn to clearance racks. I love to be able to spned very little money on a cute purse. I get complements on my purses all the time and I have never spent more than $10 on one (most are below $5).

if i was a girl, i doubted that would i spent hundreds of $$$$ on the designer handbags? umm is it worth..well they have great quality, last long....but there always new style coming out..so what the point for being last long when the style become old..ummm
about admit they r fake..why not...what a big deal...y show off by saying its real..

Hmm.
I think it kinda kills the point of having one.
Other may think its real, but you will know its fake.
Not half the fun as having the REAL thing.
But would I buy one?
If I saw one that was really cute and I was bored lol.
I'm not into the desinger bags so I would care. And I would tell people its fake if they asked, why not?

No. Purses are one thing I am very peticular about. I realy like Dooney and Bourke and some Guess bags but the Guess have to be black. I can't stand cheap looking bags
