Hi,

Sure, barter is ancient... but some things, we need bartering for. That extra ipod you get for christmas loses 1/2 its value if sold on ebay. So, we barter.

Would any of you use a website like swapthing.com or swapace.com or swaptree.com to trade your stuff to someone else? It basically works by you listing what you have, what you want, and then you wait for offers to make a trade.

If not, why not? And yes, im getting bored of ebay.

Sure I would. Where I live we have a local radio show for an hour every morning called "Trades and Sales", where you call in your items. The only limitations being nothing that costs more than $500., no selling animals (you can give them away), and no firearms.

If you get it going, let me know!

I almost always resort to trading and bartering now. I use http://www.caretotrade.com since its like the only place you can actually trade (and sell) for free....that was the main reason I got tired of ebay and the like.
