We celebrate Halloween to ward off evil spirits, and soon afterwards the mean-spirited political ads cease. Does this mean the pagan-based ritual really works?

You azz, lol. No it is a conspiracy, they end the ads because once you voted they don't need to talk bad about their opponent. Sort of like WWF isn't it.

Oooooh.....good question......but sometimes they stay around for years and years and years.....just ask West Virginians and New Yorkers. They are really unlucky.
