i know why there is a sudden craze i dont want to knwo your opinions i just wanted to know some resourses for a paper. thanks for you thoughts though.

"Sudden Craze"... I don't think it is sudden. In the 70s/80s there were Wonder Woman, Bionic Man, The incredible Hulk, even The greatest American Hero. In the 90s, The Flash and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.Comics are not new... they have been around for a century but it is only recently that movies/TV have been able to do all the special effects necessary to do justice to the characters. Adults who grew up with nothing but reading the comics are excited about seeing it on the big screen. Of course they bring their kids who also get caught up in the superhero excitement. Also, this "craze" is due to profits and money. Once the first superhero movie came out and it was successful, then the movie studios ride the wave by cranking out as many movies as possible. Its not co-incidence that when Marvel's Xmen movie was a blockbuster, the other comics got their turn on the screen... Spiderman, Hulk, Fantastic Four, and the soon to be released Punisher. I even hear that there will be a Wolverine and Magneto Movie soon. Money, Money, Money. They are trying to cash in while its still hot. Even DC Comics is starting to cash is with new Superman and Batman movies.

Follywood is just out to make a quick buck, and right now comic books are a hot topic. And that's it.
Later on it'll be some other crazy fad people will be into.

try a comic book website or even a store!
If your liking it GREAT---if not wait a month or 2 and it'll be on to the next 'flavor of the month!'

i don't know about an article, but the fact that we have really good special effects has probably helped. and superheros are just in for the moment, like rap.

you probably can't so think of it like this people like good stories with a hero they can relate to that is why hero are funny to make you like them
