What kind of help are you looking for? I am going to list some sources below that may help out.

My favorite is the Brain Injury Resource Center. There are many tools available to you and any of your loved ones that may be helping you with this. There is also information about selecting a lawyer if you need one.

You many also want to contact your local Community Services Board or Independent Living Center to see if there are any local resources that can help you (employment issues, self-care, rehabilitation, etc.) If you need help finding them, you can call you local government offices and they should be able to get you the phone number.

Good luck!

you need to take that head injury seriously. it is hard to see what happens inside the skull so people think you should be fine. make sure you get as much rehab help as you need. when you hit your head it is like shaking an egg. you know how you can feel the yolk hit the sides of the shell. this causes lots of things to get shuffled and finding words is one of the most obvious.

Assuming you've already gone to the doctor...

It would be wise to eat foods that provide your body with the building blocks need to rebuilt nerve and brain cells:

Vitamin E (sunflower seeds and ocean fish)
Co-enzyme Q10 (in the vitamin section)
B Complex
