I am putting that stuff on everything leather that I own. I sprayed my leather jacket, shoes, leather boxes (like hat boxes, only square) etc. So far so good, no problem. I am using that clear stuff like a very thin clear coat.

I don't see why not! In fact, great idea! Might as well make your nice things last as long as possible. Leather is leather-- the protector knows no difference between shoes, purse, wallet, etc.
So you can protect anything leather from the weather this way!

I am so glad I am a dude. The s*h*i*t that chicks worry about amazes me . . . . .you can protect a cheap pair of leather shoes with spray, but you have no idea about protecting your car engine with oil, even when the light goes on.
