I didn't say anything. I was just wondering what others thought about it.

It's definitely not your place to say anything, and any woman who is confident enough to breastfeed in public isn't going to respond well to your criticism. In fact, it's a good way to get yourself an argument and probably an earful about the laws protecting breastfeeders.

I don't do it myself; I'm not a public breastfeeder because I don't like to make others uncomfortable like you obviously were. However, I find it easy to ignore when others choose to do it. Most people are fairly discreet, not even showing any skin. And it is permitted by law everywhere, I believe, so complaining isn't going to stop it. Best to just let it go.

What was the big deal? Nobody made you look. That woman had the same right to feed her child as you had the same right to choose to eat at that nice establishment.
As long as the woman did take off her shirt and was very discrete, she had the right to feed her child.
It is too bad , that you sound so offended by the woman breastfeeding. People are so quick to be 'grossed' out by breastfeeding, but nobody says a word when a woman uses her breasts to try to sell a car or beer??? What is wrong with that picture?
Breast were created to nurish.....do you think they had bottles in the beginning of time?

As long as she's covered up and she's not trying to get attention from it. I think it's preferable if it's not in a fancy place or somewhere public where some people might be bothered by it. But if it's the only way she can feed her baby then it's fine as long as it's discreet as possible.

You should have left it alone, unless she was making a big production out of it. Nobody's forcing you to watch & if you feel really uncomfortable you could leave or ask for another table where she wouldn't be in view.

Left it alone, if done discreetly there is nothing wrong. I have breast fed in a restaurant, better that than a crying baby

its ok, just like how u get hungry and go to the restaurant to eat, the baby gets hungry too. The baby may start crying just about any time, so i think its ok....as long as the baby stays happy.

I would not have said anything. However, I do think it's inconsiderate of women to breast feed publicly. Which is my OPINION, and I'm sure many other women disagree with me.
