Is there really any appropriate way of going about this and not just looking like a ho? What if she isn't in to paying the price? Some men will pay, women shouldn't have to or should they? Why is it so hard to find these days, are all the really good guys getting married or tied down? Would it make her look like she was hard up to ask? I like to refer to it as a friend with bennefits, I have a couple of friends with bennefits instead of a regular mate. The way you have to go about it is find a friend then see if it is a friend you can have extra benefits with. It doesn't work out every time but when it does it is worth it. You can start by getting to know the guy that is always by himself when you see him. He may not be a loser, he may just be like you.

Well I think its a lot easier for a woman. Show up naked, bring beer. The beer is optional.
A guy in this instance would get arrested.
Seriously though there are lots of people out there that would be willing to use and/or abuse you but I think you are heading for heartbreak if you are lucky and serious trouble/injury if you are not. Please be very careful.
My formula was to forget about it and follow my dreams and I figured the right woman would come along. The more I focused on it, the more miserable I was. When I let it go, I mean really let it go, I found the love of my life.

You have to start looking in places where likely candidates might be found: employment, peer groups of various sorts, etc. There are no end of Internet sites, which you could try. Since I was looking for someone of excellent intelligence, I joined Mensa, and in particular the Mensa Singles Group (regrettably, now defunct). Score!
Of course, once you find someone interesting, it will take a while to determine whether there is a possibility of a relationship that would work. In my case, it took two days, but that is most unusual. (We've been together 8 years.)

No real offense, but Philosophy is hardly the category to ask this. It seems WILD THING isn't stricty realted on any serious level to a philosophy you might have about HOOKING UP?
Beyond that how do you define DECENT,,,with regard to YOU or a male you seek,,, for whatever reason?
You might reconsider the entire desire, and look into YOU first considering a time span farther out than a single, often brief, release?

I was in the same boat as Rob... I was working way too hard trying to find someone... then one day I just send a friendly hello message to someone who was new on the dating web site, (she had just moved here). I wasn't expecting any response back, but I am now in a relationship with a decent person.
If you are looking for someone decent, act decent yourself.
You can try the whole friend with benifits... If that doesn't work than, that is what the bar is for, just be carefull.

Well one thing is sure that you are trying just too hard to be interesting. So first, just be yourself, men like it a lot, I do. And is less work.
And when you start enjoying your self more and more you will find that who so ever comes around you gets interested in you immediately and you will start finding people who are interested in you as you yourself are. Life always reflects our inner truth.
As for falling in love forever, you should be very lucky or blessed to have that happen to you, so all the best, Meanwhile just stay open and let go and allow the Universe to work its magic for you.

Like have you tried EHarmony.com... or one of the sites that ask you 50 million questions... I would try a reputable site like EHarmony or match.com or one that has a guarantee. No it just sounds like your plan has not been working... There are a loto f good guys out there... they are just living their lives. Try on of those web sites.. the one that Dr. Phil does looks good. a lot of my friends are on them . But they are 35-40. dont know how good their doing... but if I was out there dating I would do the eharmony.. then I would put a singles ad in the paper. where you listen to your responses on the phone . ... and only then decide if you want to answer back,... a little control in that.

you need to find a pimp that won't make you work for it on the corner.
So, you make friends who have friends.. some of whom happen to be the right gender! and single! Your pimp-syndicate will introduce you to all the people you want to know. That's like the whole point of having friends.
