if you just were you and I knew you as a friend, you don't even have to be a long time friend I would give you a hug. the question is if you had magical power why would you just want a hug. If I Had magical power I want more than a hug. And if I was a guy with magical power I want some other close contact things than hugs....

No...I would not embrace my arms around you... not the first time anyways... I would have to run a background check on you... I don't want you to pull any tricks on me from out of your sleeves.. or anywhere in fact.. yeah Merlin says so. Then if you're ok then maybe after a few meetings, I'll get comfortable with you and give you a hug. See magic or nonmagic it all has to go down the same friendship-ritual type of deal.
