Tuner lug nuts are of a smaller diameter and take a special key similar to a lug nut lock key. The idea is that on a lot of the newer generation wheels the holes in the wheels that the lugnuts go into are too small of a diameter to use a stock factory or acorn type lugnut. Hope that helped.

i had no idea there was a difference in lug nuts. they all do the same thing.... hold the wheels on the car.
