I agree, lust should be in the mix. I guess I forgot about that one...

i think lust should be in the mix, it usually goes hand in hand with infatuation. you may be infatuated with someone and even love them without actually liking them, love and infatuation are chaotic and fierce, demanding.hate is the other side of love and only a very fine line seperates the two........those lucky ones who make it will actually like who they love. that type of calm cool love is enduring, passion and fire often burn themselves out but someone who makes you smile and feel loved will be the one to last.

Yes with my girlfriend. I was going out with a guy at the time - I was covering up the fact I was gay. Anywho I was very confused as to whether I liked her or just liked the fact that I finally knew a lesbian.

I never really knew to what extent I liked her but I decided to jump outa the closet and ask her out. Needless to say the extent that I do like her must be great because we are still dating three years later.

Admittedly it was probably infatuation/curiosity at the start. I just didn't know if I liked her or the idea of being with her and then getting out of the closet.

Honey, I've been married nearly 8 years and I still can't figure out how much I like him. lol. Some days he's my best friend, some days I can't get enough of him and some days I wonder what the hell I ever saw in him to begin with. Relationships are ever-changing. First comes infatuation and obsession and lust...and love is what's leftover after the "shine" has worn off and you realize just what a dork he/she really is, but you want to be with them anyway.

The human heart and head are in constant confusion and competition for the "right " answer into how to interpret most situations that a person can get into. Just have one other person fool you once and then the trust is blown as to how others may treat you. Ah, but that is life. Learn which fools you less, your heart, head or even gut feeling and trust in that. Good luck.
