My younger brother thinks Halo 2 is stupid because the only power that Master Chief has is a little regenerating shield. What can I do to convince him that Halo 2 is not stupid and that it is awesome. Also what do you think about

its a good game.
well, if you have read the books, Masterchief is a superhuman
at birth he was given titanium alloy in his bones
he has superhuman strength, how many UNMCs(UNITED NATIONS MARINES) flip a warthog or scorpion on their own
he also has a flashlight in the storyline while the arbiter has cloking, but both are disabled in multiplayer.
also, look at the arbiter, what ability does he have besides the active camo in teh game. Master Chiefs flashlight is more useful
P.S. your little brother is stupid. what other games do you see where you don't need repair kits or health packs. The guns are awsome in the game also.

You could try explaining that Master Chief is not all-powerful, otherwise he would be invincible and the game would suck.
Personally, I think the halo series was a rip-off. The trailers and previews made the game out to be way cooler than it actually is.
It's just another sci-fi shooter. Try Far Cry instead.

You can't convince him into believing anything. But the way you described it, he obviously thinks MC is a superhero. Not at all. You have to tell your brother that Master Chief is a human like all of us but he underwent surgery to be augmented and become super strong, super fast, etc. Also he went through training ever since he was 6 years old. He doesn't have any "powers," he's just another human with a gun.

Halo 2 is fun but very overrated. There are a lot better FPS's than Halo 2. I still haven't played a FPS that is better than counter strike.

If it was stupid why would it be the number one best seller? and the most popular game that they're making a movie for and already have books on.
Some people actually tattoo the halo 2 sign to their arms.
It's by far one of the best games known to mankind.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. Don't try to convince him of anything. Just enjoy it yourself (at least you know he won't be bothering you to play) and let him enjoy his games.
