Its genetic. It just like guys who cant put the seat down when their down.

lol well that's a funny question. Well in any house where a woman lives I believe that you should always keep the seat down, you're the man that's not your throne. Yet at the same time your woman has to feel like a lady but I don't know your situation so let's say it's just you living by yourself or with other guys and a girl came over, she needs to put the seat back up it's only being respectful of the way the owners keeps things up. As to why don't they put it back up who knows some could just believe that the toilet seat belongs down at all times, some people even like the lid and the toilet seat down because it makes the bathroom look better, cleaner. Some just don't think it's a big deal, who knows. Could be many reasons. But oh well guys do it leave the seat up and we go fall in the toilet lol and girls do it what can we do but suck it up and pull the seat back up or in our case put the seat back down. Oh well.

Personally, I think guys should put the seat back down after they have used it- it's called being polite, just like you would open a door for your girl- LEAVE THE SEAT DOWN

If you have ever made a mad dash to the toilet in the middle of the night, flinging your bared bottom onto the commode with urgent abandon .. and FALLEN IN .. then you would know why we leave the seat down!

I sometimes keep it up. I have practised going standing up. Its embarrassing even for me to admit this.
When my parents are home or anyone for that matter I sit because they might hear me sounding like a guy. But sometimes if I am going to have a bath I run the tub then go standing up in the toilet but most of the time if I am running the tub I go in the tub anyhow so.

if guys could just hit the target for once in their lifetime, they wouldn't have to worry about needing the seat up and voila, there would be no problem. guys are the ones who urinate all over the toilet seat, so they can be the one to touch it...

i never thought about it. i spose i could do it for my brother and dad everyonce in a while, i mean they put down the toilet seat down for me.

Why can't you pee sitting down instead of spraying everything and causing the finish on the cabinets to peel off? Lazy or just insecure in your manhood?

If I'm at my boyfriend's house, or any other house where men live, I do put it back up. I live to serve my boyfriend, and I will do anything to make his life easier!
