why do gold fish go on the fisherman's hook when they already know that their brothers and sisters have already been captured
? dont they recognize those things and why do they even want to eat that stuff?

they dont know that their brothers and sisters get turned into dinner when theyre caught. they just think that they get to go on adventures on land and stuff. but when they get caught they find out what really happened to their families.

why would you want to catch goldfish im not being sarcastic im a fisherman and crew boat captian and i just cant see myself catching a goldfish but to put it simply fish have a short term memory of about 30 seconds and no long term memory at all everything they do is instinct you can actually catch the same fish 3 or 4 times ive done it

Simple. Although it is extremely easy for us/ them to learn from the mistakes of those around us/ them, we/they believe that the best lesson can be learned through experience. Therefore, although, they know that to take a bite of the snack on the fishing hook has the possibility of leading to their death, they must experience and know if they too will face the same consequences of their peers decisions.

Becuase fish does not know that fact that other fishes were captured.
Like we do not know ourselves where to go after the death.

No fish are not intelligent enough; all they see is food. When is the last time you went fishing for goldfish anyway :)

fish usually can't see the hooks, especially the silver ones. worms are a favorite of lots of fish, I put worms in my fish tank and they would devourer it

all fish r stupid. mostly goldies. they dont realise that anybody gets captured, they usually think of food first

not necessarily because they could be young and their brains are big enough to understand and remember thing think that.

Why are you specifically talking about goldfish? Why not salmon?
