What Makes People Pretty and Ugly?

I never understood who came up with how someone is pretty or ugly. And how come there are levels of pretty and ugly. like cute or pretty or ugly and hidious?

The study has shown that the more symetrical a face is, the more pleasant it is to view.

This can easily be eff'd up by a bad attitude or poor actions. Paris Hilton is an excellent example of good genetics but it's been all sh!tted up by her behaviour.

visa versa is true for ugly people who are beautiful in their actions.

It is totally dependent on who you are. Too many people judge pretty and ugly on stereotypes. These are caused by celebrities and models.

Looks are just a matter of opinion...of course, there are going to be a few people that look great to everyone and a few that pretty much no one's going to find physically attractive, but those people are rare. Everyone has some nice features here and there, so no one's really ugly.

it depends on the person who is looking at them because what you may consider pretty may not be considered pretty to me they just may be cute or ok or even ugly it is all about the eye of the beholder

in theory point of view, pretty people is when the face of the person satisfy the hormons of that person looking at. and ugly if the person looking at that person has a pain in his stomach...haha..

It is in the genetics. People tend to go for people that look as if they will provide the most healthy babies (subconciously). So a girl/guy that is in shape/has good genes will provide a baby that is more likely to succeed than a fat slob.
