U need a flash. Try a strobe light.

If you have used the night mode and is it still dark then perhaps you would be better using a normal camera with a flash. You really can't go beyond the capabilities of you phone unless you get one with better specifications. Depends on what kind of cell phone you have.
There is another option though, one time I took a photo and it was a bit darkish. I edited the colour/balance etc on windows image editior. Turned out great. Then I saved the altered image on my computor.

well, buy a phone which has a flash light. most of Sony ericssons have it. or else if you don't want to use the flash just turn on the night mode. this enables you to take pictures under dark conditions

Get a new camera phone or turn on the camera flash or get a camera. or brighten the EV settings on it.
