Try mixing it up. After a while muscles get used to a certain exercise and won't grow as fast with the same exercise.

If you haven't been doing this already try some incline and decline presses, wide grip, and small grip presses, butterflies, use heavier weights..
Plenty of sites that may help you out more online.

There is a book called matrix system
Start with a weight you can do about 15 reps with.
eg. Bench press: 3 reps quarter of the way up
3 reps full stretch
3 reps to half way
3 reps 3/4 then back to 1/4 and start over
breath properly and do all reps slow and steady. Note: you can use this technique for most excercises.

There could be a couple things that make you hit a plateau... Your muscles need to be shocked, try some different chest exercises, and some heavy tricep workouts...maybe rest more (work chest once a week) or go heavy one week and go light the next week.. . I think it may be a combination of shocking the muscles and rest...drink plenty of water and add creatine.

Could you elaborate? Are you not able to do a bench press wieght that you used to be able to? Are you doing the same wieght but aren't making any progress?

-IN any situation, maybe you are just doing something that is counteracting the bench press. Are you eating badly? Doing activites that may cause your muscle to deteriate quicker or something?
