The worst, but far, was Petticoat Junction. The original theme from Zoom comes in as second place, but the whole show was so annoying that I can't really separate my opinion of the theme. MASH and Taxi were distant thirds. If you want another one that's actually so bad that it's almost good, "The Patty Duke" show is worth checking out.
As for the best, how about:
1. Mission Impossible
2. Original Hawaii Five O (the Ventures)
3. Twilight Zone
4. Perry Mason
5. All of the opening and closing themes from both (60s LA & 90s Toronto) versions of "The Outer Limits". There was even a 1963 hit record called "Out of Limits" that was originally intended as a possible theme for the show and it would have made this list.
6. The closing theme for the later episodes of "Thriller".

I like All in the Family.. But the theme song is so annoying especially Edith singing.

The Spongebob Squarepants theme. God, it's so ---- annoying. That theme song makes me just wanna... you know... throw something at the TV. A few more times and I will explode!

Toss up between that damn purple dinosaur Barney and the "I love you , you love me" song and the classic, All In The Family, Jean Stapleton (Edith) could not sing at all, worse than finger nails on a chalk board.

Excellent show but I DETEST the theme for "Three's Company". That song sucks more than anything in the history of suck has sucked.
