I just found out I am only gonna have $3 to dress up with on Halloween.What can I dress up as with $3?

Use a large white towel as a diaper, and buy a baby bottle in a thrift store for under $3.

Dress up as a $2 bill - get some poster paper and a marker and make a giant $2 bill [as best you can] - front and back and pin it to your clothing - carry the extra $1 with you and then you can tell everyone the story of how some very odd and crazy fellow on yahoo answers [ a novelist who lives in a small farming village in Central Thailand ] gave you the idea and saved you a dollar too...

This way, you will have a costume and a story - - life can be a kick if you give it a chance.. but mostly - - have fun!!

Buy a roll of yellow duct tape (should be about 99 cents), a kid's yellow hard hat in the toy section (should also be about 99 cents at the Dollar store) and hopefully you have a black t-shirt. Stick three bands of yellow duct tape on your black shirt in the middle - like a BEE. Tape a little bit of tape in a triangle pattern on your butt - so it looks like a stinger (can be flat -taped down). Do a wing pattern on the back of your shirt with tape (if you want to splurge - get white duct tape for this).

Put on your yellow hard hat. Put on a belt (or a work belt if you have one at home) - and put in a hammer, measuring tape, etc. It's okay to wear jeans or black pants - whatever you have.

Go as a Drone (Worker bee). Or if you want to carry a gun instead - go as a Killer Bee.


Or - buy a square of sticky white felt in the Arts & Crafts department at Walmart - It will cost you about 50 cents. Cut it into a large circle and stick it onto the center of your black t-shirt and go as a domino.

buy a pack of red solo plastic cups and glue them to your shirt and say "drinks are on me"

wear a toga. all you need is a white sheet. you can make the belt from rope (spray paint it gold) buy an ivy vine and spray paint it gold, too, and wear that as the headpiece.

you can make a lot of costumes from household items and the clothing you already have.

dress up like a girl - use your sisters, moms, aunts, friends clothes

glue paper chicks all over you - be a chick magnet

wear a flannel shirt, jeans and buy a cheap $3 cowboy hat - instant cowboy

You can dress up as a Seattle Mariners Baseball Fan. Just take a plain brown grocery bag and cut 2 eyeholes out.

if u have an old black dress bag in your closet use wht paint or a white out pen and write coroner office on the back of it and dress up in a truckers hat and flannel, put some powder on your face and get into the dress bag and go as Anna Nicole's dead son!! I know morbid but original!! And if you don't have a dress bag u can get one at a walmart, k-mart and even some dollar stores pretty cheap.

Get some facial paint and go to town! It is available at the dollar store. Look around your home and find things that are there. You can make really creepy looking outfits out of trash bags and string. Look for hats and other things. It is actually more fun to create your own unique costume than to get one at the store.
