It could be RSV check with your doctor about this, don't tell us we are not doctors. This is important to get checked out. It could be dry weather or the baby has allergies like my son had when he was young. It is either allergies or RSV

I agree with Fourcheeks4 & Concerned. Obviously, have the Dr investigate further. My daughter had similar symptoms as an infant (right around 2-3mos old) - one Dr kept saying it's just congestion in her throat (a cold) and she would get over it. After I insisted on a chest xray - it ended up being pneumonia.... a couple of months later, the cough & rattle was still there... turned out this time to be RSV. We did the nebulizer treatment and after several weeks the cough went away.
One other thing we found out (which could have contributed to both the pneumonia & rsv) was that some fluid from her bottle was entering her lungs when she swallowed. In other words, she literally inhaled her bottle (or some of it). This was found when a Pediatric Otolaryngologist ordered a "Video Swallow Study." As a result, we used "Simply Thick - Nectar" to thicken her formula and reduce the fluid entering her lungs. Today she is a very healthy 15m old and loves to eat table foods.
I hope this helps in some way. Good luck to you - go with your motherly instincts. Don't hesitate to insist on further investigation if you feel the need - you have "hired" the Pedicatrician to test & treat your children.

ITS NOT RSV.
They need to stop trying to scare you.
My baby had it at 1 month.
Shes not sick shes not running a fever ..
A lot of times when their sleeping the doctor says it is normal for them to wheeze a little bit because their lungs are so small.
It scared me too .
Um still ask your doctor at your next visit if it will help you feel better or if she does it like allllll thee time then get it checked out.
But when they are so young right now it is pretty normal.
These people don't know what they are talking about when they say take her to the doctor blablabla
I dont care if they rate me down cuz they need to stop freaking.

Take her to the doctor!!! My daughter did this and even though nothing appeared to be seriously wrong she still ended up needing some breathing treatments. We did some breathing treatments at home and only one other time have we had to do another course of treatments, and she has been fine ever since! That may be all she needs!! And your Super Mommy instinct may also be letting you know if something is really wrong, like walking pneumonia, I've also done that! That's a good thing, the earlier you can tell something is wrong, the faster it can be fixed, and the faster your baby will feel better! Good Luck!!

She will definantly need to see her doc Asap, but unless she is in distress it can probably wait till morning. Take her clothes off and watch her breath. Does it look like she is tugging hard to get a breath, does it look like her chest is sinking a lot when she breaths, is she having to breath faster than usual or take "catch up breaths" like she has been sobbing? These are all signs of respitory distress. If she is breathing normally with no extra work, she's not running a fever, not lethargic, acts normal, then you are probably sfe till morning. Some babies are more prone to have a reactive airway than others. I would call the doc in the morning. Just watch for signs of distress tonight. Good Luck.

Gee, ain't it grand you come on a public forum where anyone can claim to be anything, a doctor, a mother, or hey even God himself to give you advise on your child's health and well being but in fact they are simply a pimply faced teen who hasn't seen the light of day for a week since he keeps locked up in his room, on the computer pretending to have all these answers.
With a question involving the health of your child, call the doctor!!!

It could be asthma. But only a doctor can tell if it is really wheezing or crackling sound that you hear. It's best you bring your baby to your pediatrician just to be sure.

Good day!

Need to take her to the pediatrician. You can get a nebulizer and albuterol and this will help. I just went though this, my son didn't even act sick really but he had noisy breathing. We seen the doctor to find out he had pneomonia. After a week of the breathing treatment and antibiotics, we conquered the pneomonia without hospitalization.

My son has the same thing, it is Post Nasal Drip. My doctor said just to turn him onto my arm and tap his back or give him something to drink. Nothing to worry about, but I would bring it up next appointment

Many things could cause wheezing. Mild asthma, second-hand smoke, enlarged tonsils or adnoids - The best answer is to tell you to ask your doctor.
