I think that if you do not feel completely okay w/ taking him then you shouldn't. You;d be uncomfortable and would have a crumy night. Trick or Treating is a blast for most lil kids; they get to play a lil dress up, walk around the neighborhood and get candy, and if that's what you and your nephew are setting out to do and nothing else then there's nothing wrong w/ it.

I'm not sure where you're getting your info but there is nothing evil or satanic about Halloween. You can't use the Bible as a reference in this case because Halloween started in the Middle Ages, which was many years after the Bible was written.
That said, go ahead and take the kid trick or treating. It won't hurt him at all. Take him to the mall if going door to door is a concern. In some areas, people don't do door to door trick or treating anymore but all the malls have something for the kids.
Also, kids are cruel so be prepared for him to say something about that he was picked on at school if he couldn't participate. He will feel like something is wrong with him if he isn't able to participate in innocent fun that all the other kids his age are able to.

Lighten up. To kids, Halloween means going from door to door to get candy and wearing funny or scary costumes. It is all in good fun. You nephew will remember your time together with you for trick or treat the rest of his life. Be in the here and now where it is a fun time for kids and no more.

i does no longer take my canines trick-or-treating. too lots stimulation, too many a danger risks, etc. in the experience that your canines are properly-knowledgeable and properly-behaved, then i assume you should do this. i might bypass away the grumpy pug at homestead. young ones trick-or-treating are going to be jazzed on exhilaration and sugar, and that they are going to choose to puppy your canines. Sounds traumatic, so pug probable could no longer take care of it. Can the different 2? Are they socialized with young ones? while you are going to the door inclusive of your nephew, then i might have yet another person bypass with you to hold the canines on the top of the driveways or something. some human beings may be completely freaked out to open the door and spot the canines, and because you're occurring to their supplies, i might admire that.

Take your nephew. Halloween is the day before All Saints Day (or All Hallow's Eve) - which is a religious holy day honoring all the saints in the Bible.
It is not a sin. Go have fun!

I have heard of opinions from religious beliefs like this.
My classmate's family won't let her go trick or treating because of their Christian religion (their church sent a little out last year saying its not good to go trick or treating).
I am Christian and i think that it is ok. As long as you dont celebrate the whole scary dead things. I only think of it, as a day to dress up as something or someone else.
So its really up to you and your beliefs. If you think that you want to be abolsultley sure i would go to my church and ask. But i think its ok. Ask your nephew's parents first to see if they would even allow it.

If you are not into Halloween, then this holiday is NOT all about "you!" If your nephew and his family celebrate Halloween, then this is HIS night, not yours! Do you want to do everything possible to make sure he enjoys his night and has a lasting childhood memory, or do you want to be a stick-in-the-mud?
If you want to enjoy seeing whatever makes your nephew happy, then take him trick or treating. It is him who is participating, not you.
Be a good AUNT first, and THEN be a good Christian.

if this is something you feel wrong about, then no don't do it. Let somoene else take him. I personally doubt anyone actually goes tick or treating with the view of the real orgin of it. It is a time for just getting silly..and having fun!..Nothing more nothing less for most ppl...But if it bothers you..and you feel off about it..don't take him..you will just end up feeling guilty.

If you feel uncomfortable about doing this, then please, follow your heart on this, and don't do it. No one person can give you the answer that will ultimately give you any rest with this situation, only you can do that.
Ask for guidance from God, and then be still and hear His voice..
Maybe you already have heard it..
Sorry..
