put a key lock into the cable, can pick one up at the local electronics store, not very expensive.

I agree with Slayor. Theft of internet services is a federal offense. Be sure your wireless network has it's security enabled. That should be covered in the paperwork you have with the system you have.

I am assuming you have a wireless setup going (otherwise just rip their cable from the back of your box, unless they are stealing it from outside your house, then report them to your provider).

Go into your wireless setup program and turn on some security feature (might be referred to as an encryption algorithm or WEP or SSL).
