we girls just don't go to the powder room only to urinate. Here is a walk-thru:
unzip skirt
roll down stockings
pull down panties to use toilet
wipe
go backwards from there
pump soap on hands
wash
dry
apply lipstick
check teeth for food
dammit! i have to cover my roots. this hairdye sucks.
oh boy this skirt makes me look wide
check to see if outfit looks ok
fluff hair
smile into mirror
suck in gut
reapply lipstick darker
blot with a bit of toilet paper
check nostrils
smile again
then walk out to join the angry boyfriend waiting and waiting!!

personally, it is because i always find someone that i haven't seen in years and we end up chatting. or, i could end up meeting someone new and we end up chatting.
it could be because i have to primp ourselves so that i will look my best for you.
it could also be because i have to make a phone call so that i can get something off of my mind so that i can concentrate on you for the rest of the night.
i could be calling my mom or friends to tell them about the great, expensive restaurant that you are taking me to.
*****i have already thought of your next question. why is it that women go to the restroom in pairs? or if they go in alone, they come out in a pair?

Because women have a lot to do, like make sure they wipe all areas thoroughly, check their hair and make up if they wear make up, and if it's not their house, they're probably snooping in the medicine cabinet.

~redoing their makeup
~talking on their cellphone to their friends about you
~actually going to the bathroom
~finding a way out of the date
~using the back door and poisoning your food
~feminine things
~making sure they're beautiful - admiring themselves in the mirror
~taking a breather if you have been liplocking before
~hmmm... i can go on forever...

It's usually because we have to wait
to do our business...plus, it takes us longer.
All you guys have to do is stand against the wall,
unzip, shake, wash, and whizbang...you're finished.
We have to wait, pull down, pull up, sit, do, pull back up, pull back down, straighten, wash, and check mirror.
